Graduate Training Programme

The programme takes place over a period of 12 months, with a rotation of responsibilities through three or four key business areas. The programme is tailored to each successful candidate and includes roles in a subset of the following departments:

• Client support
• Pre-sales/Client services
• Product development
• Product quality assurance
• Professional services

Over the course of the training programme you will undertake a broad range of tasks in roles across the company, work with a variety of different people and learn new skills. Regular reviews with your mentors and programme managers will be conducted to ensure you receive the support and guidance you need. Successful completion of the programme is likely to lead to a permanent offer in a role matching your strengths, and the needs of the company.

Strong candidates will possess many of the following qualities:

• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• The ability to quickly understand complex requirements and pick up new technologies
• Solid problem-solving skills, supported by a logical, methodical and thorough approach to implementation
• A keen eye for quality and continual process improvement
• Familiarity with one or more of the following: Java, Python, Perl, C#, XML
• Good time management
• The ability to drive a discussion with potential clients to determine operational and business needs
• The ability to multi-task
• The ability to provide critical advice to your colleagues in a diplomatic manner

Entry requirements:

• A 1st or 2:1 degree, ideally in a numerate or scientific subject, from a top 20 university
• Excellent A-level results
