The technologies we use

CoreFiling is primarily a Linux shop, working with Java and a range of web technologies, though some recent product development is based upon Microsoft technology. We operate at the centre of the XBRL Consortium that develops the XBRL enabling standards (learn more about XBRL here), and our technology is recognised as the "gold standard" in the field. We also carry out highly sophisticated XML-based reporting and data modelling, pushing XML processing technologies such as Apache Xerces to the limit.

XBRL uses a combination of XML standards including XPath, XQuery and XLink. If you're hired for one of our developer roles you'll be using XP Agile development techniques - our paired programming techniques allow us to build better code, faster, and allow you to improve your own programming and problem-solving skills. Dual head, wide screen, high resolution monitors, together with fast, highly specced workstations and servers are standard equipment for all our developers.
