Software Tools Developer

As a world-leading supplier of XBRL products and services we have an excellent development team working on a range of development projects, often using Java running on Linux systems. You will be involved in developing and maintaining internal tools to support these development activities, as well as providing assistance to projects as required. Systems Administrator

CoreFiling provides state-of-the-art products and services that support our customers in deploying and managing enterprise-level XML and XBRL filing solutions for millions of individual and corporate filers. Our Systems Administrators work with internal clients and, from time to time, with external clients.

You will be working with an existing team in the administration of our office software and hardware, including a number of co-located Linux servers. Additional offices both at home and overseas also require access to our LAN and telephone systems.

Systems Administration is a service provided for the benefit of the rest of the company, your clients. You will report to the Head of Client Services and be expected to look to take on further responsibility and show leadership and initiative. You should have at least three years' relevant experience.

Pre-sales Engineer

We provide state-of-the-art products and services that support our customers in deploying and managing enterprise-level XML and XBRL filing solutions for millions of individual and corporate filers.

The Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE) is a member of the European regional sales team within CoreFiling. This role supports the objectives of maximising the prevalence of CoreFiling software and services in the XBRL financial compliance space. The PSE will be an integral part of our Sales team and will work closely with our partners.

The PSE contributes to the success of the Sales team and CoreFiling by engaging with prospective and existing customers to qualify and develop solutions for the new world of financial transparency and compliance. The PSE supports the Sales person in establishing the technical strategy for accounts and is responsible for removing technical barriers to sale and implementation.

This is a client-facing consultancy role suitable for candidates with 3+ years of pre-sales experience in the IT sector. The role is based in our Oxford office, with travel to client sites as required. Opportunities for wider travel are expected to arise for interested candidates.

Agile Product Manager

Are you a software developer looking for the next step in your career? Is your interest in making sure that software provides real value to customers and not just in cutting code?

CoreFiling's successful product development process is built around an Agile methodology, drawing primarily on the principles of eXtreme Programming. This process requires that all products have a "customer" who provides continuous feedback on the design and prioritisation of product features. As Agile Product Manager, you will take on the position of "customer" for one or more of our products and will play a key role in its design and development.

We do not require prior experience in a similar role. What we do insist on is a genuine passion for software development and a very solid technical background.

Internships

During the summer months, we often take on undergraduates with strong Java skills for paid work during university vacations and we invite applications from candidates who have an excellent academic record, including straight As at A level in numerate subjects.

In the past our interns have carried out a range of tasks, including research, development, software testing and systems administration. A number of our interns have become permanent employees after they graduated.
