Are you an exceptional undergraduate with an interest in a geek career? Know Java or Linux SysAdmin backwards? Build extraordinary web sites or applications in your spare time? Looking for a rewarding job prior to starting on the next phase of your studies?
Look no further, we might have a role for you that is both interesting and stimulating... And certainly not just making the coffee!
Our interns get involved working with our development or sysadmin teams, often working independently to capture business rule semantics, UI, or on a range of experimental projects that help us expand our capabilities. Heard about XBRL and want to learn from some of the best in the world? Want to push your understanding of XML modelling, messaging and API construction? Interested in enhancing your Linux sysadmin capabilities? We offer all that -- and money as well!
You will have straight As in your A levels. You'll be doing well at a good university, and you are interested in a career in the next generation of web technologies.
Interested? Great! Please submit your CV, together with a covering letter explaining why you are interested in working with us. Please make sure that you tell us when you'll be available to work.
No recruiters via this route.
Overseas candidates are welcome to apply only if they can show us that they posses a working visa in the UK/EC - (we do deal with a couple of North American Universities directly, which is the only exception), and only if they can get to Oxford for an interview on their own.
