PKF (UK) LLP becomes CoreFiling's latest Seahorse iXBRL partner
PKF to offer CoreFiling's Seahorse iXBRL conversion tool to UK corporation tax filers
Oxford, 22nd July 2011. CoreFiling, the company that invented the Inline eXtensible Reporting Language (iXBRL) format, has announced a partnership agreement with PKF (UK) LLP, a leading firm of accountants and business advisers, for the marketing of its Seahorse Inline XBRL (iXBRL) tagging solution.
Since 1st April 2011, UK corporation tax filers have been required to file their accounts in the iXBRL format. Under the partnership with CoreFiling, PKF will provide the Seahorse predictive tagging solution to clients who wish to convert financial statements prepared in Microsoft Word to the iXBRL format ready for filing to HMRC. PKF will offer a managed conversion service, and will also provide Seahorse to corporate clients under the 'PKF iXBRL' label, together with training and support services as required.
Jim Greenfield, IT Director at PKF, said: "Seahorse is the ideal tool for fast, efficient conversion of accounts to the new iXBRL format. Our accountants are finding it intuitive and easy to use. The in-built verification against HMRC's Joint Filing Common Validation Checks, and knowing that our solution is underpinned by technology used by HMRC, gives us confidence that we are providing the most viable solution to our clients."
